Introduction: Trainer Chad is dedicated to in-home fitness training. I also train clients in corporate or residential fitness centers as well as in my own in-home studio located in Maple Grove, MN. As a personal trainer, my professional interest and personal obsession is fat loss and muscle building. As it happens, fat loss and muscle building are closely related. I am a student to these subjects, and I experiment with and prove new ideas on myself first before trying them on my clients. Along the way, I have learned the importance of nutrition. I know how to help you get stronger, leaner, and healthier. No matter where you are now, I can guide your nutrition, strength training, and cardio in perfect balance to help you change your body. Clients love that I use progressive overload. This means that each session builds in difficulty over time. I would never kill a new client with weights so heavy that they are out of control. Safe lifting is about controlled movement. Clients also love that I am an active isolated stretching specialist and can address muscle tensions as needed during a session. Some clients schedule exclusive stretching time on my table.

For several years, Chad has been coming to our home once a week to work with my son as his personal trainer. I first was referred to Chad while he was working as a personal trainer at LifeTime Fitness. Another personal trainer at LifeTime felt that Chad would connect well with my teenaged son who has an autism-spectrum disorder. From the first day that we met Chad, I was impressed by his professionalism, friendliness, and ability to motivate my son. When Chad started his own business, we did not hesitate to stay with him. Having a personal trainer come to our home during the afternoon was quite helpful to me because I worked fulltime and my son did not yet have his driver's license. In addition to the excellent personal training, I am so pleased that my son continues to benefit from working with such a positive role model. I highly recommend the TrainerChad service.

I was one of Chad's first clients and worked with him for a number of years. He has worked with me for general training as well as rehab after both shoulder and knee surgeries. Although I feel that he is an outstanding trainer for general conditioning and body composition changes, the skill that may separate him from everyone else is his ability to treat each client as though they were the only client he works with. He is an exceptional listener and truly cares about making each session specific to the needs of that client. Not any of the "he's 45, so I'll take him through this plan". He crafts each workout to the specific needs of each client at that point in time. He is also very skilled at understanding the roadblocks that may prevent a client's progress and working, in a positive way, to overcome the obstacle.

I'm a woman in my mid-40's and was slowly but surely gaining weight. I worked out, thought I ate right, but was heavier than I have ever been. I heard Chad on a radio segment and something told me to call him. I met with Chad and he set up a nutrition plan and a very simple workout plan for me. He carefully showed me every exercise and made sure I was doing them correctly. I thought I would be intimidated and feel dumb, but I felt so comfortable and at ease. I've met with him a couple of times, and six months later I have lost and kept off my goal of 15 pounds and am in the best shape of my life. I have Chad to thank for this, and it's nice to know he's got my back if I run into any obstacles. I HIGHLY recommend Chad if you need to just lose a few pounds or a 100 pounds..he will get you there!

Training with Chad has been an extremely positive and influential experience! You won't find anyone who truly cares about you, your health and well being more than Chad. He will do anything to help you achieve your goals. He's a smart trainer with an ability to work with diverse individuals, their body types, injuries, etc. I guarantee you won't have more fun than when you train with Chad...his smile and energy is contagious! I'm forever grateful to Trainer Chad!!!!

Chad understands how to address personal fitness goals with a customized approach. Yes, there are fundamentals that are important to all fitness programs, but Chad made sure they applied to my specific goals. It's also a huge bonus that he lives it! No hesitation recommending Chad.
