Hello! My name is Annalise. You may call me Ana. I have been teaching voice, guitar and piano for 7 years. I originally taught at Headwaters School of Music and the Arts in Bemidj, MN from 2005-2007. Now Im back teaching voice and guitar there! When I moved to the cities in 2007, I started teaching private lessons out of my students' homes. Now Im back in beautiful Bemidji and looking to teach private lessons as well. I teach ages 5 to as old as you'd like! I prefer to travel to your home, as I live with grandparents and our piano is great but not tuned* I love to teach my students the theory of their instrument, and I also encourage them to do their own songwriting eventually. We will learn correct technique, how to read music for bass clef and treble clef, theory, chords, dynamics, etc. If there's anything you would specifically like to learn, just let me know! I get to know my students quite well, and we learn a lot and have a great time. I've had many teachers in my past, and the ones who made it fun to learn were the ones who allowed me to fall in love with music. Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you! ~Annalise
