I am an experienced tutor, and have a lot of great references to show for it. The subjects I usually tutor are geometry, advanced algebra/precalculus, statistics, chemistry, and physics, as well as SAT and ACT prep.
I'm a licensed Minnesota educator (#429992), and I work exclusively as an individual tutor. Do not get pulled in by the tutoring factories which utilize a canned course of study when your child really needs a specialized approach. I don't offer any kind of service where I do term papers or take-home tests for a student; I teach.
I was also employed as a scientist for twenty years prior to my teaching career, so I have real-world experience with the sciences and math. I'm experienced at working with home-schooled students, gifted students, and students with various learning disabilities.
