Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. House Cleaning services vary in the services which they provide. Some companies provide housekeeping services, while there are others which specialize in specific types of cleaning.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. We all know that you need to paint the walls or replace the carpet when you are getting your house ready to sell. But are you aware of how much better your home will look to a prospective buyer if it has been deep cleaned?
For example, kitchen cabinets accumulate dust and grease. But this causes them to appear dingy. Cleaning the cabinets inside and out and restoring the wood brings out the shine.

A. Before listing a house for sale or rent, owners may want to consider hiring "fresh eyes" to look at the property and help prepare it for the best possible first impression to potential future occupants. Making a small investment in the property's appearance and making sure that everything is functioning properly can decrease the time spent looking for new occupants and increase the financial gain for the owner. As a result of the present economy, those looking for a home are clearly looking for a home that requires no major repairs and is honestly "move-in ready".

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. The concept of Residential Reformation was inspired by witnessing a young couple with three small children purchase and move into their first home. Of course, the couple was thrilled to be able to stop renting and actually own their place of residence. The couple had done extensive research pertaining to their needs. The location, cost, number of bedrooms and bathrooms were a fit for their family. They did have some concerns regarding minor repairs, interior painting and cleaning. When they had done the walk-throughs before their final purchasing, the owner had verbally made numerous promises regarding the cleaning and repair work stating that he would take responsibility to have these items completed before the couple’s move-in date. All seemed to be going well.

It appeared that things were falling into place for the young couple and that gave them reason to celebrate. They were excited when the much anticipated move-in date came for them. They arrived at their new home with a load of their belongings and opened the front door. It was immediately clear to them that the previous owner had not kept his promises. This house was obviously not in a condition for them to move into at that time. Repairs and extensive cleaning needed to be done before their infant child and two pre-school children could spend the night in their new house. You can imagine their disappointment.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Our pricing is based on the level of, for lack of a better term, dirtiness of the home. Our cleaning services utilize per square foot pricing and has three levels:
- Typical
- Heavy
- What happened here, World War III?
Most homes will fall in either Typical or Heavy.
We also provide repair services which will be individually priced. Repairs can also fall under different pricing levels. Many repairs do not require licensed professionals and will generally be charged at a lower rate. However, extensive repairs may need to be completed by licensed professionals and will be charged at a higher rate.
We do have a Quote Guarantee Policy. Ask us how to qualify for this.
