Introduction: rowan & dough is a bespoke catering/private chef business specializing in all things dough. We curate menus based on your event, and love to work with what's in season. We offer drop off catering services, private chef services, meal prep & cooking classes. From founder Chef Natalie Allesee: I have worked as a Chef for 15 years in various restaurants around the Twin Cities. I am classically trained (Le Cordon Bleu), but garnered the majority of my knowledge from working for various high profile (and James Beard Nominated) Chefs in MN. I have worked in fine dining & casual restaurants, and have a passion for curating menus specifically to the guests palate. Hyper-local, low waste cooking is what has always driven me creatively, and whole vegetable, vegetarian focused meals are my specialty. I use heritage grains, locally sourced produce & and upcycling ingredients in order to align cooking with my values. Whatever waking moments I have not reading about/cooking food, I am hiking/foraging/enjoying the beauty of MN. --ask us about our heritage grain pasta!

Chef Natalie was amazing with her communication, cooking, and cleaning. I hired her for my fiance's Birthday.Everything was amazing and flavorful we could not put our forks down.My fiance is super picky and he LOVED everything. 100/10

Our experience with Natalie was amazing! She was very attentive to our needs and was able to make our dinner very special. We had a 3 course meal which was delicious! She was easy to converse with which put us at ease with this being our first time hiring a private chef. She’s not only an exceptional cook but also people oriented and will undoubtedly give you an experience of a lifetime. We will definitely be calling her back!

Natalie is so great at what she does! We did a brunch cooking class for my bachelorette and the group loved her. She was excellent with communication right from the start on answering my questions. She was on time, reliable, professional, very kind and her knowledge of the class and food was great. I highly recommend her!

This was my first time catering experience and it was nerve racking to commit to working with Rowan & Dough without tasting the food, not knowing the final outcome and trusting that the person will show up and deliver. But it was a great success and I couldn't have been happier! We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday and wanted a menu that had mainly vegetarian dishes with a few seafood dishes. We wanted the food to be full of color, flavors, healthy and sophisticated. Natalie nailed it! Everything was so delicious and our guests were raving about the food. I had many ask where I found this cater and asked to share her number. I also liked that Natalie was very professional, had a great communication style, I felt very supportive during the whole experience and I was so happy she came right on time, love when people are so punctual! I'm so grateful to Natalie and thinking of an excuse to have another party and hire her again! Regret I didn't take more pictures.
