Introduction: Hi there, I’m Weston. My group is called Local Effort - we’re at local effort food dot com. Our focus is on local and seasonal food and ingredients. We’re available across Minnesota, especially around the Twin Cities, and we grow vegetables in Roseville. I'm available as a personal chef: for home dinners, as an instructor and a coach, food styling, and for events. I can teach novice and intermediate-level wine tasting techniques, how to make sourdough bread, and chocolate tempering. I love to bring a little restaurant hospitality to people's homes. I've got a handful of fancy gadgets and tools, I don’t compromise on ingredients, and I get a joy out of trying to recreate someone's favorite dish, or attempting dishes outside of my experience or tradition. My favorite thing is helping folks improve their own home cooking. I'll come over and cook with you, or I will cook for you and you can just watch and learn. I can write recipes, help with groceries, and offer dietary and nutritional guidance. In the end, I want you to learn to love your food. However we get there is up to you.
