My family is thrilled with the music instruction provided by Le Forte Piano Studio. Our eldest daughter has been taking lessons at Le Forte for the last 4 years, and she is developing into a true musician. Our two younger girls also take lessons, and they look forward to practicing because Mellisa gives them fun challenges.

Our daughter, who is 9, is in her second year with Mellisa Weinert. We couldn't be more pleased! After starting lessons with Mellisa, our daughter has flourished musically and personally. The most amazing thing is that she goes to the piano herself to practice without any pushing or persuading! Through Mellisa, she has learned to love the piano and learned the value of a continuous, persistent work to reach a goal. Mellisa does this, in part, by motivating her pupils through fun activities / contests, etc. so that the practicing doesn't feel like a chore but something fun to do (yet with specific goals to achieve). Mellisa is very professional and, at the same time, a very warm and encouraging person. She also makes an effort to relate to a child within the child's psychological framework, tailoring the assignments and learning levels. Mellisa shares her enthusiasm for music with our child but with us as well! We couldn't be more pleased!

Mellisa is a wonderful teacher! As an adult student of hers, she has taught me so much! Mellisa not only teaches you how to play the piano, but teaches you theory behind the music, and history of the composers!
I took lessons from another teacher as a teen, and later in life decided to take lessons again from Mellisa. I was amazed to see that with Mellisa, I learned more in 3 months than I learned in 3 years from my previous teacher! Mellisa is very passionate about piano education and is a great teacher! I highly recommend Le Forte Piano Studio!– Monica

An amazing teacher, a kind heart, and a personable human being, these are only a few of the many fantastic ways of describing Ms. Weinert. She has a unique style of teaching that will have you learning music history, the piano layout, and how to read music amongst other things. Her musical mind has given her an insite on what it means to be a teacher. I can say this for sure, there is only one person who I would trust with such an elegant instrument, and that person is Mellisa Weinert.

Question and answer
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I wish all students could truly grasp the importance of music and the role it plays in our lives. Learning an instrument, specifically the piano affects every other area of life in some way. It's not about becoming a concert pianist, it's about finding a passion, something to hang on to for the rest of your life.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. They should know that this is not a job for me, it is a way of life. I am fully qualified and prepared to teach piano. I am very educated in my line of work, work hard to keep abreast new techniques and methods, and am always looking to keep things fresh for each individual student. I do not teach "curriculum" like many teachers. I cater to each students' needs as a musician.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love the opportunity to teach others about music! Music is my passion and I get to share that with others. I love helping someone discover something that can become truly personal to them as well as the one on one connection I have with my clientele. There's no greater joy or reward than to be a teacher.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I have always loved music. I knew as a four year old that music would be my life and I wanted to share it with the world. My students aren't the whole world, but they are my world. They are important to me and their success is my success.
