A. Keep it simple. Wear something you are comfortable in so you will LOOK comfortable in your photographs. I do not set a time frame for your portrait session - so maybe your child needs a mental break or a clothing change...there is no rush. Take your time, have fun, and make your photography session an enjoyable experience!
A. There is so much more to photography than owning a digital camera. On top of composition & lighting, I'm watching the background, the focus, depth of field, your expressions, your fly away hairs, & your bunched up shirt. Not everyone with a DSLR camera is a photographer - watch out for imitators.
