Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Weddings- we are a full service wedding studio and we not only provide high res DVD images of every wedding but also design stunning custom albums, storybooks and mini books. Framing, wall portraits and more!

Equine: Passionate about horses and their relationship to their people. Our clients love our storybooks that feature all of their favorite images from their session.

Family/kids: I do a ton of pregnancy and newborn portraits as well as first year series. Studio and location sessions!

High School Seniors: So much fun and creativity! Seniors are a break from reality- love creating one of kind sessions and finding unusual places to create one of kind images.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When shopping for a photographer take time to look at their website samples and make sure that their style is what you are looking for. Ask for their advice on locations, time of day and more.

Experience in photographing exactly what you want is a must! Just because someone can photograph kids doesn't mean they can photograph weddings or pets. So be sure to see lots of samples of the type of session YOU are booking.

I have been a professional photographer for over 15 years and run a full service studio. I specialize in weddings, equine, family/kids and high school seniors.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. That for every minute in front of the camera there is a hour behind the scenes working on editing, computer work and other day to day business tasks. Shooting and designing albums, books and holiday cards is the fun part!

A. Photography is a print medium- meaning that seeing digital images online or on your computer is great but photography was meant to be printed. Framed prints, albums, storybooks and more are available and in my opinion are the best way to enjoy your images for years to come.

My favorite part of the process is album design- I absolutely love photographing sessions, events and weddings and then putting everything together into an album or storybook design.
