Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. 1) please make sure the contractor is a professional. Not just a guy with a step ladder and a paint brush. There are alot of guys out there just trying to make some extra money and the results usually dissapoint. 2) insurance! I can't stress this enough. Any reputable painting or powerwashing company will carry liability insurance. 3) ask for refferences of customers who hade work done similar to the work you are having done. 4) ask how extra charges if any will be addressed.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. When it comes to painting i think we stand out with our customer service aspect of the painting process. We take a little more time with the client in the bidding proccess to make sure we are bidding on exactly what the client wants. We also make sure to point anything that might need special attention like repairs that the client did'nt know existed so we can help avoid as many surprises as possible durring the painting work. Believe it or not we enjoy what we do and we're confident it shows in our quality and we make sure it's done the right way the first time. In regards to the housewashing we are one of the only low pressure house washing companies in the st. Louis area. We use a system that only puts out about as much pressure as a typical garden hose. No more high pressure damage to siding,windows or screens. We also clean alot of the black fungus on the roof shingles with the same low pressure system. We only use high pressure on hard surfaces like decks, patios and driveways.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Customer interaction. I really enjoy meeting all the people i've done work for and have actually formed good freindships thru the years.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Can you start tomorrow! I wish i could paint everyones house at the same time but because i'm on every job it's not possible. If a painting contractor is good at what he does than there's going to be a waiting list. I do my very best to forecast my openings on my calender. I always give the client an estimated start date and call a few days ahead to confirm.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Absolutely! I have a long-time client thatshad me stain her very large cedar siding house every other year for a long time but never changed the inside color thats been white on white for 25 years. She finally got the nerve up to add some color. It took her 3 weeks and 15 color sample combinations in every room on every ceiling with me making about 5 or 6 trips with her to sherwin williams to pick these samples out. Well she called me on a saturday morning and said she had finally made up her mind. " just paint it all white " we still laugh about it.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. It takes time to do a quallity job.
