Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have been an attorney for more than thirty years. During that time I have always practiced law full time. Since 2001 I have been an elected Member of the Missouri House of Representatives and been involved in writing the laws. That experience has given me a great perspective to advocate for my clients.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love cases that make a difference. Not just a difference in the entire world but for my clients. For a teenager charged with an alcohol or drug charge it can be an incredibly life changing event if not handled properly. I like handling these cases properly.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How can you represent guilty people? I usually say that if only innocent people had rights we would be a sad country indeed. In fact more people need help when they are guilty than when they are unjustly accused.
