Jason and his crew did a superb job on my house. I had tight schedule and Jason was able to come out and take care of the job right away to meet my needs. Not only did the floor and the garage look wonderful but he offered an idea to stamp the front porch. Because he was already on site and he knew that it would look great, he offered to do it for less than I was expecting. The top of the porch turned out beautiful. He could have done the facing of the step and the sides of the porch the same day and it probably would’ve turned out just fine. But instead he chose to come back and face it so that it would be perfect. That seems to be Jason's standard “perfect”. This guy has a passion for what he does and takes pride in his work. I will definitely be recommending him to my friends.

I needed a patio poured and Jason and his team came out and evaluated my needs. He also thankfully found the drain tile around my home was clogged. His team came out and within a few days I had a new drain system and a new patio that exceeded my expectations. The service and cost was the best I ever had on a project. Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I try to educate my customers as much as possible when working with them. I believe that the more they know about what they are purchasing the better they can make their purchasing decision. One of the most important things about concrete installation is the stuff you don't see when it is completed. There needs to be a base of 3/4" or larger Limestone underneath the concrete. This base layer needs to be at least 2" thick and in most cases 4" thick. This base layer is very vital to the longevity of your concrete. It first must be completely smoothed out and tamped so that it does not create any weak spots in the concrete and result in unwanted cracking issues. Second the thickness of rock and depth of base layer allows water to freely drain under patio. This prevents "heavage" from our freeze thaw cycle. Which occurs when settled water underneath the patio freezes "expanding" thus lifting the concrete slab causing unevenness, cracking and sometimes worse! This step of properly digging out and grading a project is often over looked or cut out to save cost, as digging out the dirt sometimes can be the bulk of you labor. In the end a proper base will give you better quality and looking concrete and is a step we do not skip at SOETEBIER CONTRUCTION!

A. I truly enjoy working with people and creating beautiful projects. I love how concrete is such a versatile medium to work with. Virtually your imagination are my limits. I find very few professions where that is the case.

A. What kind of guarantee does my work come with? Answer is plain and simple. We guarantee our labor, if its not right we'll make it right for free. We use only the highest quality material available, and continually go above and beyond to ensure a high quality standard! The whole reason I started working for myself, is because I couldn't sleep at night doing things the way most of the area's contractors do things. Our work is better.....period!
