I've had the opportunity to hire DJ Stretch for my daughter's birthday party and i must say he did an excellent job DJing. He does old school and new school parties. I would recommend DJ Stretch to do another party for me in the future. Good job DJ Stretch!!!!!!!

A. You want to select someone who has years of experience in this particular field to increase the chances of a successful special occassion. You also need someone who is reliable and most of all prompt, because it is essential that events start on time. Someone that can coordinate with you to make sure everything is covered for an enjoyable stress free operation in regards to the music and special lighting situation. I would take the worry equation away from the planning of the music and special lighting. With such a large library of music to select from, you would be at ease when your event starts.
A. Promptness is mandatory. Nothing is more embarrassing then having a large crowd and a delayed event. You must also be flexible because not all events go according to plan especially when you are dealing with music selections. Patience and being able to read your crowd is also a major factor that comes into play. Being able to listen to your crowd for certain selections can also assist you in music selections because you can also encourage them to dance to that song. Always be prepared for any unforeseen mishap such as blown speaker, bad wires, missing selections, and other show stopping dissasters. Always keep a cool head no matter what obstacles are in front of you.
A. Is this individual reliable? Do they carry the particular type of music that the party is interested in hearing? Can they provide quality service along with quality sound? Can this business, with confidence, accommodate all the needs based on the size of the event? Can this business make accommodations and changes on short notice satisfactorily. Is the interest of the customer top priority in sucessfully accommplishing complete satisfaction.
A. Important information that customers should seek out prior to contacting myself should be whether or not they want an event that is professionally done. If that's the case, then I can accommodate you with that type of service. I pride myself on pleasing each and every client so that their special occasion stands out for a life time. You should make sure you have an idea on what type of party you are looking at having. If you are not completely certain, I could assist you in coordinating what ever idea you have in mind to suit your needs. With all the experience that I have, I'm certain we will come up with an outstanding format that will have your event being noted as a complete success.
A. Working with clients is essential. I work one on one with clients that have specific details concerning they're event. I make sure all lines of communication stays available such as telephone and email contact. If either contact is attempting and I'm not available, I will immediately return that missed attempt within a 24 hour period. Also if needed, I have a list of suggested songs for all occassions if a client is having difficulty selecting something that coincides with their event theme. So if you have special ideas, lets make them happen. Because remember, this event is going to be real special for a lot of people.
A. What I like most about my job is being put in a position to make a group of people come together and have a great time. To control a good time and to have people remember something for the rest of their lives that actually brings a smile to their face is so gratifying. When the night is closing out and the crowd is still dancing to that last record being played, you can come to a conclusion that it was a great night. So constantly bringing a crowd to the dance floor really makes this job a beautiful thing. No matter how you look at it, when people are dancing, some how a smile is difficult to hold back as you move on the floor and that's a great thing.
A. My greatest strength would have to be quickly determining if something isn't working, and immediately finding something that does work. When it comes to music sometimes you may have a mix crowd. It then makes it difficult to select something that everybody likes. So as a DJ you want to provide the majority of the crowd with something to get them out on the dance floor. That is an area that I find myself having a lot of success at. Looking at my crowd and determining what will work for the masses and going with it. Who knows, if you get the majority of the crowd on the dance floor you may even pull some of the more difficult crowd out there also.
A. Would you take your chances on hiring someone that doesn't have experience on working your special event?
This can easily determine the outcome of your event whether it's a total success or failure. Don't let just anyone come into your life and ruin your day of celebration. I have over 20 years of experience and have done several different formats of DJ'ing for all different types of celebration. From surprise parties to military Christmas parties. Therefore, with that type of background you know I have accommodated a wide range of diversified audiences successfully and that's key when you want to be successful in this industry.
