Schafer did final taping/mudding on a rehab that I did not have time nor inclination to do myself. They did an excellent job, within budget, and on time. They will continue to get all my drywall business in the future.

A. Most of our jobs are basements and new construction. We also do alot of remodels and repairs.
A. Do your homework and make sure you hire a reputable company. Sometimes the cheapest way out is not the best. It usually costs more to fix something that somebody else messed up than it would have costed us to do the first time.
A. We strive for quality work at a fair price. If the customer is not satisfied we will make it right. When customers call they always speak directly to the owner himself who will be present in all phases of the project to ensure quality.
A. I enjoy seeing a project completed from start to finish. It is rewarding to know you did your part to help someone make their house a home.
A. Most customers ask how long it will take to complete. It generally takes 4-7 days from start to finish. We are also commonly asked if we can fix something that has been messed up either by another contractor or a do it your selfer. Yes we can!
A. I wish customers could more fully understand the process takes about a week to complete. Alot of people try to rush the process and cut out drying time between the phases and most of the time it doesn't turn out the way we would like it to. I would also like them to know that it is the finish product that counts, sometimes people look at the hanging part of the drywall and think it doesn't look good, and it doesn't. Relax and wait for the finished product.
A. Well as a third generation drywaller I guess you can say it is in my blood. After working for alot of different companies and doing alot of different odd and end jobs as a teenager, I realized that my place was in the trade that I grew up around. I hope my son will follow in my footsteps the way I followed in my father's and he did his father's and so on.
A. Although it might seem complicated, we really don't have a complicated pricing system. Our price is figured by the square foot of wall space, ceiling height, any crazy vaults or angles. An average basement with 7 1/2 to 8 foot walls is .65-.70 cents a foot. The price goes up with added height from there. That price is for labor only materials not included. It is usually half of the labor cost for the materials on average size jobs. We usually charge $100 per trip to do small repairs which usually ends up to be about $300 on average.
