A. Make sure that you check references. They are the best way to ensure you are hiring a reputable business that truly values their customers. While it is true that you cannot please everybody all the time, it will provide you with some good insight to how the business operates as a whole.

A. Are you a state registered, insured, and licensed business? Are there additional charges for moving certain items? What are those charges?

A. What is my access like? Is there a long walk to where the truck will park or lots of stairs? How many movers / packers / cleaners will I need? How long do you think the job should take? Are there any large, overweight, or over-sized items that will need to be moved? What other items might require special consideration? Are there any fragile items that may require special attention? Will I be renting a truck or mobile storage unit or will I need full-service moving?
