Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Always check with the Better Business Bureau and ask for a free consultation before hiring any photography provider. Any reputable studio owner should have a list of references, accreditation's, & guarantee's.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Hiring the RIGHT photographer for your job isn't as easy as simply going through the yellow pages, or online ad's and then picking the cheapest. Photographers VERY OFTEN specialize in one area and it's important to find the one best suited for your job.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. It's much like hiring a service professional for home repairs ... for example; you wouldn't want to hire a construction worker generalist to work on your electricity needs in the home. Same goes for photography ... you need to find a specialist for your specific job.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Check to MAKE SURE - the "business" you are contacting actually has a Business License with the State. Unfortunately, MANY so called "photography businesses" today are not actually licensed by the state, nor do they collect and remit sales tax. Very important consideration to do business with a reputable trusted service provider.
