Introduction: As graduate of Moscow Conservatoire and Manhattan School of Music in piano performance, Tatiana's piano studio is a jewel in the community. She has over 15 years' experience. Tatiana has traveled the globe playing in venues such as Moscow, Conservatoire's Great Hall and The Russian Piano School (Lake Como).
She teaches the Russian piano method and is well versed in sight reading, music history and music theory. She brings a wealth of knowledge to both beginning students as well as seasoned professionals. Her education includes teaching from the most renowned pianist in recent times.

I am an adult student, having had several previous years of classical lessons with other teachers. I have just begun lessons with Tatiana and have found her very easy to work with. I was immediately impressed by her extensive knowledge of composers, types of music, theory, and analysis of pieces of music. From my very first lesson I learned several things and know that continued lessons with her will only help me improve in technique and understanding music better. I am looking forward to learning more from her. And, of course, she plays most beautifully! I heartily recommend her.

I had no previous experience with piano when Tatiana started instructing me on how to play. She moves at a pace that is specific to the student and her curriculum is not a standard 'cookie-cutter' layout; you can bring your own music or motivation. She will work towards your goals in a way that you can see your results, yet she still makes sure you develop a solid foundation. I have an irregular schedule and don't get to practice at home as much as I should, but she acknowledges that adults don't have the ability to sit down and practice sometimes. She is the kind of teacher that is your friend, not your boss, and that relationship will drive you to work harder and you won't find that at any chain studio.

Tatiana is an extremely talented pianist with very effective teaching methods. She helps me learn pieces I really enjoy. She helps me understand music theory. She is very patient and we laugh together when I make a miss a note. She continually motivates me to do my best and makes learning the piano fun.
