- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor’s degree and have been writing for 8 years now in different capacities. I also attend continued education conferences covering email, direct mail, SEO, and social media communication strategies.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a professional it started in the nonprofit sector as an event manager. I wrote sponsorship packets and cover letters from event chairs so I became accustomed to ghost writing from the beginning.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I interviewed a veteran who was close to taking his life when he received a grant. Now my article touched other veterans with mental health issues by not only being published online but also turned into a video. The process ended up having many components so I have five hours invested.
