For the lucky people that can find a contractor that is a true pro, sun deck and their employees went above and beyond our expectations. At the end of the project the owner David told us the job went faster than expected and built three benches with extras left over from the job for free and he had told us to expect wood rot at the house and there was less than expected and took off $200 off the bill. This kind of honesty is rare and truly appreciated. We would be proud to say that we would tell anyone wanting a great honest builder call sun deck and home they are truly the best experience we have ever had with anyone doing work on our home. Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Research products, timbertech,trex,azek,correct deck,lockdry,treated (acq cca mcq),cedar redwood,ipe,koa,cumaru and other harwoods,composites,ask to go and see projects not just pictures,go with your gut feeling when talking to a contractor,and remember tha you get what you pay for,also get specific details on your quote,last make sure the final price is firm and on a contract so at the end of the project there are no additional hidden costs.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Ask your contractor if your home was their home, what would they build, how they would build it, and why? Knowing how long you will reside at the residence will lead you to your choice of materials used for your type of home and your budjet. Little extras can add a ton of resale value,and composites,hard woods as well as tile will have a more perminate low maintinance value, and treated,and cedar will keep costs down yet have more maintinace.

A. Getting to know my clients and putting my experience together with their goals of creating a tailored outdoor deck,patio,kitchen,pergola,arbor, and complete home transformation to meet the specific needs of each and every home owner. When can you start my project? answer 1.I give discounts for winter 2.smaller repairs and jobs 1-3 weeks 3.larger projects 1-3 months. 4.I also give discounts to home owners that can wait as we stay booked out as far as 6 months at times. 5.Last i will explain the best time of the year to do specific types of work.
