Hired on Thumbtack

Hired on Thumbtack

I contacted Luke and Jim about repairing a section of drywall in my entry way that was at a very high point in the ceiling that ladders couldn't reach. Their reply to my post was within an hour and were able to evaluate the repair the next day. They evaluated the situation quickly and gave me a quote that day. I was very impressed by their professionalism and punctuality. They were on time every time throughout the project which is a very rare trait to find in a contractor if you have ever hired someone to do work before. They cleaned up as they went and before they left everyday. The quality of the repair was top notch and the ceiling looked like it never happened. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to contact Luke and Jim in the future for any additional projects in the future and will be recommending them to friends and family.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I decided to get in this line of work because its daily problem solving. I knew that an office job was not for me. Meeting new people helping them solve their problems with my skills is a win win in my book.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The best advice I can give is to provide yourself with options. I know myself there is more than one way to accomplish a project. A different way isn't necessarily wrong. The best way to pick a contractor is to weigh what they are willing to do with the price being charged. The cheapest is not usually the best.
