- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We love home and enjoy beautifying them one at a time. "It's What's Inside That Counts" is a true belief of our company's because we know the interior finishes in a home can really set the mood for each family member and even determine how their day starts out and finishes, how they feel about themselves and their space, and can either a) energize and make our clients happy or b) depress and weigh them down. We like option A!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at how long they've been in business and any testimonials their clients have given them. Secondly, if they've been in business for more than 10 years, work with family owned business to help the economy grow and help hard working families instead of putting money into the big corporate box stores (Home Depot, Lowes). You get a much bigger bang for your buck by hiring a knowledgeable, professional window covering company PLUS you may actually pay less! And, if you have any problems, you call THAT company and your rep instead of getting the run around at the box stores when trying to resolve any issues!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's very detailed and takes a keen ear to hear what client's are and aren't saying they need and a keen eye to see what's going to suit those needs the best. There are many things to take into consideration when treating a home with window coverings and draperies or adding new design aspects to it and not just anyone can do a fabulous job at it!
