Introduction: Thank you for checking out Mitch Shields Music. Playing for live audiences is simply my greats passion. I provide entertainment starting at $300 per event. I have been playing music most all of my life. I am guitar/singer that also plays multiple other instruments. I am very passionate about entertaining people. I have several opening acts to my credit. Acts like Molly Hatchet, Eddie Rabbit and Christian artist Mark Schultz. I have also shared the stage with guitar legend Roy Nichols. In 2017 I released my first CD "Chillin". Follow that I was voted best of in three categories of "Missouri's Best Magazine".... "Best Male Vocalist, Best Musician and Best Local Band". That same year I performed a tailgate party for Alabama. I feel one of my greatest strengths is my ability to adapt to most every audience. From young to old... just a quick glance of my list of songs will tell you... I have something for everyone. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My starting price for events is $300. Travel and overnight expenses may change this price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always request a meeting... via phone, Skype or live. This is important to determine what the expectations are for this event. Things to discuss at this meeting might include, any special music, or music related presentations at the event, also, length of performance, location and size of the venue. Any other special request for performance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied music at Drury University and have over 40 years experience in front of live audiences. I was voted in the "Best of Missouri Magazine" in three categories, "Best Male Vocalist", Best Musician" and "Best Local Band".
