Matthew Gurley renovated a sunroom on my 120 year old home. It is now an incredible full bath and sunny foyer. The inside is beautiful. It looks very modern; but doesn't look like it's just "added on". His design sense merged the old, classic that I loved with the new.
The outside of the house was designed so that it looks like it is part of the original. The room was totally demolished (as the foundation was sinking). So all new floors, walls, and a brand new tall ceiling opened up the area. The outside of the house has asbestos siding which seemed like it would not be able to be matched. But he figured out the right type of material to make everything look seamless.
All of the interior designs were his, designing the very unique vanity himself.
I would definitely hire Matt again if (and when) I have money to put into a home renovation.
He is easy to talk to and can take what you want and make it a reality.
