Introduction: Dear potential client, Hello, my name is Celester D. Rencher, I am the owner and operator of Rencherhouse Productions L.L.C. Rencherhouse Productions is a local St. Louis company that provides mobile DJ services to bars, nightclubs, hotels, and other venues in and around the St. Louis metropolitan area. Our DJs show up prepared to set up shop and accommodate all our client’s needs. All we need is a minimum amount of space, a sturdy surface to place some of our equipment on, and access to a power outlet and within a little time, we are up and running and ready to provide the music for whatever show is asked of us. I have been a Disc Jockey/Master of Ceremony for 22 years and counting. I have experience working-- wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate parties, and holiday events. I not only bring years of experience to the table, but also a knowledge of music that crisscrosses all genres…from Alternative Rock, Blues, Classic Rock, Hip/Hop, Modern Rock, Pop, Reggae, Rhythm & Blues, and Techno. Long before I was a DJ, I was and still am a ‘music lover’…Over the course of my life, I have assembled a catalog of music that contains over 20,000 songs and growing. If by chance you or one of your guests requests a song that we do not have, my company has a subscription to Spotify, a music streaming platform. Thus, making it possible for our DJs to honor that request promptly. Our goal at Rencherhouse Production is to provide a desired music-enhanced environment for our clients. Absolutely Incredible. We met with Celester back around April and always remained in touch throughout to make sure everything was on the same page. He is all about the bride & groom and making sure everything revolves around them enjoying their big day. We could not thank him enough for making us his #1 priority. From the first meeting, he emailed us over an itinerary of what the night will look like time wise and what songs should be played (Ex: time of first dance + songs, time of wedding party introductions + song). This made the whole process go smoothly, which was very appreciated from our side as our stress was on other wedding planning activities. Our wedding had about 208 guests. My family is Iranian and my wives is American. I was a little nervous at first about how we can incorporate different types of music, however that was not a problem at all. Throughout the night, the rotation of songs/genres was perfect. Everybody was up and dancing, and the amount of compliments I received from my Iranian family about the DJ & music was overwhelming. He also did not try to “steal the show”. We’ve been to a good amount of weddings this year where the DJ is constantly on the microphone talking and taking the spotlight. That was not the case with Celester. He stayed off the microphone, unless asked upon by us to make an announcement. He did a wonderful job getting everybody on the dance floor. I 10/10 recommended Rencherhouse Productions for any wedding, or event in need of music. You will not be disappointed.

We hired this DJ for our wedding. He was amazing. He was very nice and easy going. He was on top of everything and contacted us before the wedding to make sure everything was in place. He played all the music we wanted. He asked for a general time schedule which we provided. However, I'm not actually sure if we followed it and he just went with our laid back style. We asked him to avoid playing specific music and he totally did. If I need a DJ again I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. This DJ did so well I didn't stress one bit about the music at the reception which allowed me to relax and enjoy the event.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Here at Rencherhouse Productions we charge $100 an hour. There is an additional fee of $100 for travel/setup/breakdown( the DJ will arrive two hours prior to the event to setup and do necessary sound checks. And will be at the event 90 minutes afterwards breaking down and packing away the equipment for transport).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner and primary DJ has 20 years of experience as a DJ/MC.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our owner, Celester D. Rencher was raised by a family of music lovers. He has been around multiple genres of music his whole life. After serving honorably in the United States Air Force for eleven years, he left the military. Wanting a change of pace, he pursued a fun opportunity to play music for a living and the rest is history.
