I have a 50,000 word fiction book that at this time I need proofed and edited. Some of the vernacular is rural and some is plain English. The rural portion probably just needs to be checked for consistency. The plain English is another story. I can write fiction but sometimes sentence structure is another matter. Can you give me a ballpark idea of the cost? There will eventually be 5 or 6 books in this series that will need to be proofed and edited. I have the next book already in the pipeline at this time. It should be done in a few weeks. After that they will be written on a schedule of every 2 to 3 months until the series is complete. I would prefer to use the same person to edit each book. I feel that once I establish a relationship with an editor and they become familiar with my writing style, it will prove to be a lot more productive. After I see what you can do and If we can reach an agreement on a reasonable cost, perhaps we could enter into a long term association. Thank you.
