A. Do research in advance on the project in which you are taking on such as exact process, price estimates, make sure corners are not being cut, etc. Get to know your contractor. Ask for previous employers, pictures of completed projects, and customer references where available. If you have any concerns or questions, voice them immediately so that a mutual decision on the best way to bring this to a conclusion can be developed.
A. Great communication skills with customers through the entire process from meeting, bidding, estimated time and completion date accuracy. Dedicated to taking a hands on approach no matter what the size of the job. I will go the extra mile to ensure quality control on each and every project i am given. The job is never completed until the customer is completely satisfied.
A. I have had the opportunity to meet quite a few interesting people and travel to a lot of different areas. I enjoy the daily challenge in a field that is constantly changing. The satisfaction you get as you see a project coming together is like no other. And when a project is completed to the customers satisfaction, that makes you very proud.
A. I was working for a deck company. My first day there they had one new crew to tear out the deck and a two man crew to install a new deck. The homeowner, a german brew-master, came outside and was very upset because the salesman had quoted him a three (3) day turn around. Instead it took five (5) days. I had to call the boss to double check the plans. The homeowner thought this call was unnecessary because so much time was already wasted and told me to get to work. I told him i was getting instructions from the boss and would be getting started with the new crew in just a few minutes. We finished the project one day early. The brew-master came out of his house once again. But this time it was to tip us for our great work and apologize for his earlier derogatory remarks. Then his wife came out very excited and told us she could not remember the last time he had apologized to anybody and thanked us for doing a fabulous job!
A. Professional:
Not every good builder carries a union card...some of us are just hard working individuals.
Personally:
You can't judge a book by it's cover.
Good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good
