AMENA has been perfect in generating and executing ideas for my kitchen, living room, master bath, and dining room. She was also pivotal in meeting with me at stores to do counter, cabinet, and flooring selections and made it much easier to make dexisions with her guidance and expertise. i have gotten tons of compliments or her designs and color choices and appreciate her hard work and genuine desire to make clients happy with the end product! I am!

Amena is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! She is so insightful & she really listens to your needs & what you're trying to convey in your decor. She was also very perceptive to my style & what I would like. I'm not very good w/ coordinating patterns, textures, & colors. So I gave her a general idea of my style, the colors I like, & she kind of just "went w/ it." She did such a wonderful job, stayed under budget, & yet really managed to get a lot of bang for my buck. I love her & the job she did, I would definitely hire her for another project & I'm always referring her to my friends & family. Overall very satisfied customer!

Amena has helped to make my house feel like my home! I have lived here for 5 years and I have never loved it so much. She also made decorating fun and easy. I was concerned that my house wouldn't feel like my style when we were done...but it feels more like my style than it ever has. She knows her client and she knows how to decorate to your taste. She is reliable and creative! This has been so much fun, I have already asked for her help a second time...and I see more work for her in the future at my home. She is awesome!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing for my Design services is simple. I charge only by the hour at a very reasonable rate and am able to pass on discounts at certain retail shops.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an ASID member we are required to meet a high standard of Continuing Education to stay a licensed professional nationaly.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first degree is in Theater. However, in that line of work many years ago my acting coach made it clear that everyone needs to be choose one other thing they love to do. For me, it was easy...Interior Design.
