- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was working at the hospital Oncology. And I was tired of crying when I would leave work. My supervisor said you will get used to this. But, I just did not think I could. It was a hard floor to work on. So I moved to St. Louis and thought I would give cleaning a chance. Something I was good at. And it allowed me to have flexible hours so my kids could go to school and come home to their mother at the end of the day. So many kids don't get to spend a lot of time with the parents due to there jobs.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I mostly do residential cleaning. Weekly, biweekly cleaning, just going in and do routine cleaning.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Just cleaned a house for a young lady who just purchased her first home. The previous owners were smokers. The floors and mirrors were yellow with nicotine. When I left they shined.
