Introduction: Coming from a fine art background, I approach the design process with artistic vision and principals. I strive to create unique interiors that reflect the client's lifestyle. I don't push my taste onto a client. I want their space to reflect their personality and needs. I work closely with each client to custom design a plan that is tailored for their individual home or business. I really love creating beautiful spaces that are unique and inspiring. Also, seeing the client's faces when they finally have the space they wanted, but didn't know how to achieve on their own. I also, have some fabulous craftsmen and artisans that I get to work with.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dottie Eaton of Design & Style. My home looks fabulous and really reflects my personal style. The minute I met Dottie I knew I had encountered a kindred spirit and a new friend. She really listened to me and understood that I wanted my home to be creative and unique space. She brought ideas to the project that I never would have thought of myself. The furnishings and accessories she helped me select are truly special. My home is one of a kind thanks to her special touch and attention to detail. I could not have found these items on my own and I am so grateful for her guidance and expertise. The furniture arrangements suit the rooms perfectly and the beautiful colors create a cohesive and original environment. I love how she was able to incorporate many of the things I already owned into the redesign. This was a super fun and rewarding experience. Every step along the way Dottie let me know that my satisfaction was her most important priority. I can't believe I ever considered doing this on my own. Dottie saved me a lot of time and ultimately a lot of money, because I am sure that without her help I would have made some unfortunate design blunders. Everyone who visits me just raves about my creative and welcoming home. Dottie is the best!

Since I not only practice interior design but also style for various magazines and catalogs. I am always researching to see what is on trend. I am continuously searching online and through magazines and attending trade events to stay current and find fabulous and unique resources.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There is a lot of thought, research and planning that goes into the design process. Having a good designer can help the client from making costly mistakes and wasting a lot of time.
