As a divorce coach, I am committed to supporting my clients as they navigate an often difficult phase of life and help them arrive at a place of renewal and possibility. Together we will set goals that are (SMART) Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely.

As an educator and former director of an agency working and counseling families in separated or divorced situations, and as an individual who has had my own personal experience with divorce, I am aware of the powerful impact it can have and the need for support, tools and focus to move forward with confidence.

As a Certified Life and Wellness Coach, I work with my clients to co-create a successful and realistic action plan to make a powerful lifestyle change. Examples of the things we will address include eating habits and activity level. Being fit and staying healthy will help galvanize you into your best self.

My clients have referred to my sessions as helping them to:

"...feel unstuck, lighter, breathing easier and empowered."

"Susan is so supportive, empowering and encouraging, I feel like I have a personal coach and cheerleader in my corner! She helped me form a game plan.."

"Susan's coaching picks me up when I fall and boosts me over those walls I need to climb to get to my goal"

"She brings to her sessions that perfect balance of compassion and directness, giving her clients the time they need to get clear in their own minds while supporting and challenging them with enlightening questions and concrete strategies. Susan was born to coach!"

Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would want to know how Life Coaching and therapy are different and how I would be able to get the most out of my coaching sessions.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Sinking your teeth into life isn't just a theory it's a practice. My Divorce, Life and Wellness Coaching Practice is unique in that we sink our teeth into your goals by creating an action plan and setting timely goals. You will have assignments that will help you prepare optimally for each session.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. My committment to help empower you is fierce! Whether you are going through a difficult divorce, looking to create a health and wellness power plan or making a major life transition I will work with you to optimize your results. My greatest reward is seeing you stretch and reach your goals.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What is Life Coach and why would someone seek one?
A Life Coach is a professionally trained individual who helps motivate, direct and interact with a person/client who desires to move forward in his/her life. Together, the Coach and the Client establish an agenda at the outset of each session so that the best use of time can be made.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. In working with an individual who was looking to make a job change, we worked together to discover the pros and cons of doing so. After each coaching session and each encounter she had with prospective employes she said she felt stronger and more confident. After looking at her home life and weighing the additional amount of time she would be spending commuting, babysitting expenses and foregoing personal down time, my client made the decision to stay on at her current job. She was able to negotiate a raise in her salary, enjoy more family and down time and not only save money but increase her paycheck.
