- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely- I am always up to date on my CECs. I spend a lot of time at workshops or taking new classes to get more hands-on experiences. I stay up to date on trends and new techniques via periodicals, videos, and occasionally assisting one of my old instructors.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Long story short? I hit 210 pounds from having a desk job. I began reading and researching health and fitness, I began exercising. I fell in love with dance, fighting and yoga... and began to dedicate my life to their study. I essentially became my own kinesiology experiment :) I began altering my nutrition and exercise with the goal of fat loss and muscle increase- all while maintaining a high level of health. I saw so many other men and women in the shoes I had once worn and knew that my experiences could help them as well. And, well, here we are- proving that nothing is impossible... only challenging.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
These days, my work is split into a traditional client base that looks for fat-loss and muscle gain; and my newfound love which is my non-traditional client base: post-rehabilitation, special-needs, motor-skill drilling, cardiac issues...
