Introduction: I'm new to the St. Louis area, and I am in the process of establishing a private piano studio. I am offering lessons in my home in the Maryland Heights area. If you live close by and it fits into my schedule, I might be able to come to you also! I have a bachelor's degree in music from Ouachita Baptist University and five years of teaching experience. I have experience teaching both children and adults of all ages and of all levels. I have been accompanying and serving as a church pianist throughout the last five years, so I have gained additional experience in several musical styles that has given me the opportunity to be adaptable to each student's needs. I offer 30-minute, private lessons, which will include theory. Not everyone wants to be a concert pianist, but once you know the fundamental skills and technique of playing the piano, you can apply it to any style that interests you. My goal is to help all of my students have fun and find a musical style that best suits their interests while still learning proper technique and theory.

My daughter had taken piano lessons for 4 years before we meet Ms Abby. Abby discovered that although my daughter had taken piano lessons for 4 years she could not read music. My daughter absolutely loved Ms. Abby. Not only was Abby an amazing piano teacher who taught my daughter to play and read music, she built a trusting relationship with my her that we still value to this day. If you are looking for an incredible piano teacher who is caring, patient and compassionate I would highly recommend Ms. Abby.
