We offer St.Louis weddings by J. Pollack Photography.

The anticipation of a hanging wedding dress, your dad's embrace just before he walks you down the aisle, the tear in the eyes of the maid of honor during her toast: we do not make special moments; we artistically capture them as they happen.

Wedding packages all include:

• An hour-long bridal or engagement session in the STL area
• Full-resolution digital downloads directly from all galleries
• Web-based galleries that you can share with family, as well as friends (for both the engagement session and wedding)
• Rights to make your own albums and prints should you choose
• No minimum print order requirement

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. First, narrow down your photography vendors to the style you like. Then, consider what they each provide and deliver. Finally, look at differences in pricing.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. It's very hard to make an apples-to-apples comparison between photographers since everyone has different offerings.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Always be mindful of what you actually get when hiring a photographer: What is delivered? Are there restrictions on usage? How long will photos be available online? Does it cost extra to get full-size digital images? Ask to make sure you're getting what you really want.
