Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. How do U do that and make it look store bought?. If I were a customer, I would envy the talent and knowledge.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. At least have a good idea of what they want done. It is hard to deal with someone who does not even have an idea. I could interject ideas all day long but one must at least have an idea in mind of their own or what they are trying to achieve.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. The quality stands out in an overall visual.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Working for myself in a stress free enviroment.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Price? I will work with you the best I can.
Time Frame?. With-in a day of projected estimate time.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I wish they knew how serious I take my work. The quality and pride that goes into every job I do as if the consumer would handle it themselves if they had my knowledge and talent.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I have always had a passion to create and build things. It's what drives me!. Very true statement...Do something you really love and you'll never work a day in your life.
Q. What are your most common types of jobs?
A. Cabinetry Repairs, Furniture Repairs and making hard to find items.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. I had just built a 1760 Grandfather clock. Even though it was a bit challenging it turned out beautiful. One really can do anything they set their mind to do.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Yes, I attend Journeymen woodworker upgrade classes to keep up with the latest technology and trends of todays markets and consumer spending.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. Future design changes to uplift lifestyles.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. Have a product that is simply unique and in demand.
