If you seek peace of mind with your forthcoming event, the good news is that you can end your search. The Edge! DJ Productions provides a "one stop" for all of your disc jockey needs.
I'm Rob Cutler, and I'm the owner. I'm also your DJ. You can imagine that, as the owner, I have a special interest in your event running perfectly. I am most pleased whenever I see a bride's smile or an event organizer being complimented for a job well done because everybody's having fun. It's my responsibility to make you look like you absolutely knew what you're doing when you booked the entertainment and coordinated the event or project.
Why The Edge! for the DJ?
It is extremely important that you can trust the DJ to live up to your expectations. More than ninety percent of my events over the past twelve (15) years have come from a referral, and this means that someone who had been to or hosted one of my events appreciated me or what I did is enough to share it with a family member, friend, customer, classmate, or co-worker to help in their entertainment search.
I love what I do, and I know that you will see it once I entertain as your DJ.
For your next fundraising event, try a Music Trivia Night!
I was asked a few years back to create an interactive, upbeat, party-themed alternative to the standard "Trivia Night" format. The effect of that request has been an always evolving, alternative to the norm. My music trivia is not vague questions about who wrote what song and when. My music trivia ranges from name that artist and tune from 30-second clips to recognizing soloists and guitar solos. It's identifying spoken lyrics, read akin to a romance novel to interactive table participation with a humming assignment and an iPod.
I think, I have as much pleasure as everyone else in these events. I've done multiple events for numerous hockey, lacrosse, wrestling, softball, volleyball and glee clubs as well as fire departments, The United Way and multiple corporations. Each has returned the following year, due to the event's success. I hope to have the opportunity to help you as well.
Whether it is for a wedding reception, dance, trivia or party night, I hope to have the chance to speak with you soon about your event.
Thank you for stopping by,
Rob Cutler

Rob did a fantastic job as a DJ to my recent wedding reception. He kept me and my husband at ease with how in control he was of the event. Rob also has amazing clarity and a nice voice for the microphone. He has the ability to read a crowd and play music that reaches all age groups. I was pleased to see my guests enjoying themselves, and all age groups up dancing! I'd highly recommend Rob for your next event, or trivia night.

Thank you, Rob for making our daughter's wedding reception memorable! From your organization, MCing, amazing dance music selection to the ease of arranging all this- it was perfect. We couldn't have asked for more.

We used Rob for our wedding in May. He was AMAZING!!!! He had just the right amount to say and kept us all going. He played the right kind of music and was good about reminding us when we needed to get our dances done (I got side tracked several times that night!) Rob was the only vendor that I did not have any concerns about, at all! He was great!!! Will come highly recommended by us in the future!

A. Go with your gut...not price. If you feel good about the DJ and trust that they will deliver, go with them. You will be glad you did.
A. This job is REALLY fun if you are good at it. If your DJ is only concerned about playing the music that they like themselves, someone will get left out. If your DJ appreciates ALL music and understands people and is adaptable...you feel like a guest yourself almost feel bad taking money for the service you provide...but not too bad ;)
A. 1) How do you generate your business? The best DJ's get there work by referral.
2) What services do you provide? The best DJ's will only require a few peices of info and will actually coordinate most of your event. I generally don't even provide a song list unless asked. Most of my customers trust my experience.
3) What kind of equipment do you have? Some DJ's will try to operate with a low end system or an over the top monster set up that rivals a rock concert.
4) Why are you better than everyone else? There are terrible DJ's and there are great DJ's. Your DJ should be humble and not talk negatively about other DJ's but explain why they feel the two of you are a good match. They should never try to be something that they are not just to get the job. That is a set up for disappointment.
