Question and answer

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. It depends on what they are needing my services for. If, for instance, you are a bride I recommend that you know how many people in your party are requiring makeup before signing a contract. Also know in advance as to what look your aiming for for your wedding, is it going to be romantic? Modern? etc. Also before seeking any makeup artist make sure they provide a contract regarding your event, this covers both the artist and client from any mishaps. It's also nice for the client to inform the artist of any allergies or reactions from makeup that they have.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Artists in my industry all do such a great job, I believe that the only thing that stands apart with artists are the techniques used and how far one is willing to go with creativity. Versatility is what to look for in any great artist, which I have. I can do straight makeup as well as fantasy/high fashion.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy helping people to look their best and sharing my knowledge with others to help them achieve this. Meeting new people is also a plus in my industry!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What's the best foundation? I recommend a yellow undertone for most and steer them away from anything "pink" even if they have fair skin. I tell them that they don't necessarily have to go with an expensive brand just one that provides their coverage needs and warms the skin up. Also choose one that fits their skincare needs, oily, dry etc.
