Introduction: My name is Heather, and I do Day-of Event Planning/Coordination in the Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana area. Originally from Upstate New York, I have lived in Ridgeland, MS for the past five years. I was the Events Assistant for the Mississippi Hospitality and Restaurant Association in 2022-2023 in which I helped coordinate large scale events such as the state level Mississippi Prostart Culinary Competition at the Westin hotel. I have also provided wedding coordination services to clients in the Jackson area and in New Orleans. As your Day-Of Event Coordinator, my job is to ensure that your special day goes smoothly so that you can relax and enjoy every moment! I will meet with you prior to your event to understand your vision and then I will create a detailed day-of timeline. After receiving your vendor contact information, I will coordinate with your vendors regarding day-of logistics. Finally, I will be present for the duration of your event to ensure that the day runs as smoothly as possible. I also am a licensed officiant. If you are also interested in this service, please ask! Words can’t express how amazing Heather is! We hired Heather as our day of coordinator, and We immediately clicked during our initial phone call. Heather constantly checked in during the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was organized and followed my plans exactly! Special praises to Heather, because 3 days before my wedding, I broke my toe. I text Heather to update her and to let her know plans may change. Heather was completely calm and reassured me that my day would still be amazing. I was an emotional wreck, but Heather made me laugh in that moment and it lightened the mood! On the day of the wedding, Heather ran the show like a rockstar! My wife and I ran Heather left and right all day long, but she was always so sweet and understanding. She never complained, and she worked hard the entire time. I even had to check in and make sure she had eaten! We’ve gotten so many compliments about how beautiful the wedding was, and how it ran so smoothly! This was all thanks to Heather! She took care of any issues with vendors, decor, and setup.
