Cindy hosted a birthday party at Desert Rose which we attended. We had never been there before, and we were amazed at how GREAT the food was! The best burgers we have ever had - I had a cowboy burger that has coffee in it which was succulent. Brian had the blue burger, caramelized onions and pecan pie. Our kids made their own pasta dishes. YUMMY! There was a bluegrass/folk jam that plays. Thursday nights that had amazing talent, and we danced for hours. The chef made a giant carrot cake in a cast iron skillet with cream cheese frosting that was shared with everyone there. It was to die for.
My 11 yr old wants to have his birthday there, and Cindy said they would be happy to throw one for him. She then gave me a very professional brochure that detailed what they provide for kids birthday parties. I am totally impressed with Desert Rose and their staff, and will be a new regular from now on. This places a hidden gem well worth discovering.
