Hsin-yi is awesome! I recommend her to everyone. She challenges and cares for every individual student and tailors lessons to each student's learning style and musical ability. She encourages the development of technical skills, musicality, music theory and history, and appreciation for music of all styles. Hsin-yi has experience teaching everyone from young kids to college students, and even parents! She has trained me and my siblings for almost 10 years. She went out of her way to not only teach us, but also ensure we had fun, appreciated music, (and won competitions!)

Anyone who is serious about furthering their piano skills should study under the tutelage of Hsinyi. It was very easy getting comfortable with her because she is very patient and works with you based off of what you already know or may not know. She also gives you a piece that she wants to you to work on as a challenge, along with helping you with a piece that you want to learn. She makes sure that everything you do is perfect, every lesson. Another thing I love is that she offers you time to practice at her house if you need to. Even after I go on to college, I'm still going to study under Hsinyi because she is absolutely the best & affordable.
