FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into photography like I think a lot of others have. It started out as a hobby. I was always (and of course still am) the photographer of the family. I wanted to learn more about photography and get better at producing quality images not just for me and my family but for others. I think anyone can "take a picture" but to have an eye for a creative, interesting and sharp images is a totally different way of taking a picture.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Family, children & couple photography. Maternity is one of my favorite (no reason...just love them!) However, I do newborn photography, weddings, birthday parties (and other events) and I have done a few pet sessions. I am always up for new ideas & challenges.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check out their work and make sure their photography style fits you. Do not base hiring a photographer off a few images you see or one session you like. Make sure they have a variety of work and are creative with their work. Find a photographer that shows personality in their images. A good photographer shows their passion for photography in each image. Do not be afraid to ask questions and make sure you know exactly what you are getting for the price you are paying.
