- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our first lesson is always 50% off! For private instruction, lessons are $35 for 30 minutes and $60 for 60 minutes. Additionally, clients receive 50% off lessons for every referral that books with us. In terms of booking us as performers, our rates go as follows: Individually, we are $150/hour. Both of us performing is $250/hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love to get all the details. For private instruction, the process goes like this: We discuss prior experience, if any, as well as what genre of music is being pursued. We establish goals, expectations, and practice routines to maintain steady development and create milestones to reflect on growth. We work out the desired duration and frequency of the lesson. We modify our lessons to tailor the needs of our students, while working on progression of aural skills, reading skills, and performance abilities. For performance: determining the event setting and what music would be most appropriate to reflect the mood, discussing the event details, such as duration of performance and expectations of the client, and providing any applicable feedback.
