Xavi is a wonderful guitar teacher--patient, excited about his work, and really, really good at helping to make things click.
I've always been impressed by his professionalism, humor, and skills. I'd recommend his services to anyone (beginner to advanced). (Though I'm an adult learner, I also think that he'd be wonderful with children and young adults.)

I have been attempting to play the guitar for a long time and feel that my progress has been very slow. Xavi has been extremely patient with me and really zoned in on what aspects of my guitar playing to focus on. I feel like only a few months with Xavi has given me what would equate to years of formal schooling. And he's super fun and relaxed to be around too!

Xavi is a patient, thorough, funny, and insightful teacher. He has helped my 8-year-old gain confidence and skill, and she is even motivated to practice! I have highly recommended him to many friends and will continue to do so!

As an adult with very little musical experience, it was intimidating for me to choose to learn to play. Xavier has been extremely patient and has this wonderful ability to point out what I am doing well and also what I could do better, allowing me to maintain my motivation and feeling of success while still being challenged. I feel that this is one of the most important balances for a music teacher to have an Xavier has it in abundance. He is creative with his teaching approaches and flexible to my needs as a student. I highly recommend him!

We have found Xavier to be an extraordinary teacher for our two kids in learning guitar. He is patient, thorough, and knows exactly what level they need to be taught at. His quiet demeanor and knowledge of guitars is what draws us to Xavier. We are thrilled to have found him and both kids have learned more in the time we've been with him (four weeks) than in the last two years of lessons.
