We have an older house which was in desperate need of upgrading if it was to become a house where we could live year round. Richard and Matt impressed us right off the bat with their innovative ideas when we were shopping for contractors. We were looking to keep some of the features in the original structure such as the wood floors and the fireplace and they did that in a way that meshes old with new. As to the finished product, the results were fantastic. Their attention to detail and quality was impeccable. Our remodel required a lot of imagination and creativity which they definitely provided. Finally, as professionals and as individuals, they were great to work with. I highly recommend Brookstone.

Richard and Matt built a custom home for us in Black Mountain, and the home is 98 percent done at the time of this writing. we are very pleased with the home. We were apprehensive at the start becausewe live in Minnesota and were not going to be around to witness the work, but our worrries were unnecessary. They worked closely with us to build the home exactly as we wanted. They worked hard to get specific features we had requested,such as a specific, hard to find flooring and wall hung toilets.they suggested some wonderful adaptations to the original home plans.they delivered the home ahead of schedule and the quality of the work has been excellent. They took what could have been a stressful experience and made it enjoyable.

Brookstone was recommended to us due to their reputation for honesty and integrity in custom home building. We were more than satisfied with their quality of construction as well as their attention to detail. They offered us creative ideas throughout the project which ultimately improved the original building plans. We were in our 4200 sq ft custom home within 11 months of breaking ground.
Additionally, they have been very responsive to a few minor issues and have stood behind their construction and remedied any issues with subcontractors.
We couldn't be happier with the final result as our home won it's category in the 2010 Asheville Parade of Homes!
