Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Most clients either request dog walking or pet sitting services. Dog walking requests range from planned-out, scheduled weekly visits, to last minute calls for clients that are working late or going out for the night and don't have enough time to give their pet the love & exercise they would like to. Pet sitting requests differ in location. Some clients request a TLPC caretaker stay in their home in order to care for pets as well as keep up with a few things around the house (watering plants, bringing in mail). Other pet parents prefer to drop off their pet to a caretakers' home. This provides a pet with almost 24/7 love, care, & attention, usually for a cheaper price. We also offer to pick up & drop off pets to their home. We offer pet taxi, check-ins for pets, & trips to the local dogpark!
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When it comes to your pet, you want someone that you can trust and depend on, someone who will treat your pet as their own, and someone who will follow all instructions given. All employees at Caitlin's Tender Love & Pet Care, LLC fit this description and are ready to meet you and your pet now!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Finding out whether a pet care provider will give constant love and attention to your pet vs. leaving them in a kennel for the majority of their stay is a huge factor in the quality of time your pet has while you are away. Don't be afraid to ask!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Ask for references. Experience is key. Experience backed up by glowing testimonials from prior or current customers gives a sense of reassurance not found any other way.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Customers should consider whether they want their pet to be watched in their own home overnight, have constant love and care in the caretaker's home, or just have check-ins at their own home. How many times a day should the caretaker come by? What type of services do you want done (walks, bathing, house services)?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Unlike impersonal boarding clinics, warehouse daycares, or crated facilities, we strive to create a very personal & comfortable experience for every pet we have. From occasional home visits to 3-week stays at TLPC, pets form an obvious bond with their caretaker that you won't find anywhere else. No longer worry about the amount of love & care your pet is getting.. they will be showered in affection, while still expected to follow any commands that they are used to from their parent(s). We are available all of the time & take pride in keeping clients informed on how their pet is doing. Check us out on facebook to see what we mean!
