    Cary is excellent tutor.

Laurel is a capable and experienced tutor. She is especially skilled in teaching children for whom English is a second language, or who may be having difficulty coming from a home where English is not spoken well. She is patient and has a great variety of materials that she draws upon depending on the student's need.

Laurel is one of the most professional, and open, friendly approaches to online education for language instruction. She is personable, and treats everyone with dignity and respect; including children.

Laurel effectively uses online tools, for social media integration for education. I have learned a great deal working with her on radio-based education development.

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I customize the lessons for each student. I don't come in with a set agenda but I talk with each person and decide what will work for them best, and I can adapt as time goes on to help them the best way possible.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love helping people and teaching them something new! I am patient and yet I am excited about what I am teaching ~ I love French and English and want everyone to be able to speak these wonderful languages :)

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much experience do I have? Over 20 years - I have been teaching since 1989.

How can I help their student with specific problem? We talk about that problem (reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing, speaking for foreign students) and we work out the best way to get started and continue learning, overcoming that problem more each session.
