A. Not all carpet cleaners are created equal! There are many variables that come into play when choosing a carpet cleaner. Don't make a decision strictly based on price. Make sure to ask your neighbors or friends for recomendations as well as any online resources that include reviews.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would want to know whether or not the service was safe for my family and myself. Many of my clients do not realize that the most important step in carpet cleaning is how the cleaning chemicals are rinsed from the carpet. The majority of carpet cleaners today do not rinse their clients carpets effectively, leaving a dirt attracting residue that actually promotes premature resoiling.

A. Potential clients should make sure that the service provider is insured and licensed. Ask about the chemicals used and whether they are safe to be used in carpet cleaning. Also, ask about how the carpets are rinsed and what to expect with the drying process. Carpets should typically dry within an hour to eight hours after the cleaning has been performed.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Do your carpets need cleaning or do they need to be replaced? Unfortunately, due to misleading marketing tactics, some consumers believe that any situation on their carpet can be fixed through cleaning. This just isn't so. In many cases there are cosmetic problems on carpets that can't be fixed through cleaning, even when the best spot removal chemicals and techniques are being used. Sometimes it's best for a professional to view your carpets before any cleaning is done so they can properly assess the situation and provide the consumer with the best advice.
