Queen City Moves Dance & Music

Zoe Whittaker has been dancing, performing, and instructing savoy-style lindy hop for over ten years. She has been studying Argentine tango for the last three years. She emphasizes the basic techniques of social dance and is known for her connection-based approach to teaching the swing out. Her classes teach solid partner communication and technique which will make your dancing feel relaxed. Some of her professional experiences include performing and teaching blues dance at Herrang Dance Camp in Sweden, teaching connection classes at Lindy Focus III in Asheville, NC, directing two years of Orton Academy's swing and jazz program in Asheville, NC, and working as a dance consultant on the set of movie Leatherheads.
