We are committed to helping students achieve success in school and continue their education in college or other post-secondary training. As a result, our youth will be better equipped to find meaningful employment, lead productive and center-of-hope gratifying lives, and become contributing members of our society. * Salvation Army Center of Hope Women Shelter The Salvation Army Center of Hope Women Shelter provides a safe, clean and sober environment for women and children to direct them to the services and resources they need and any future need, breaking the cycle of homelessness. * Central Piedmont Community College MAN UP Program MAN UP is a Minority Male Mentoring Program that provides comprehensive activities that promote the personal development, academic improvement and other social and educational advancement needs of students at Central Piedmont Community College. The program was developed to increase the population and retention rates among minority males and designed to provide the inspiration and motivation that they need to reach their goals. * Men Shelter of Greater Charlotte The Men Shelter is dedicated to providing safe emergency shelter while working to end homelessness for each man. Our vision is to serve as the catalyst for systemic change to end homelessness in our community. The Men Shelter provides prevention and outreach services, basic needs, supportive services, and continuing care.
