Artisan Ice Sculptures

Introduction: We do masterfully crafted ice sculptures when only the best will do! Artisan Ice specializes in amazing works of icy art, from the mountains to the coast of the Carolinas. We work closely with brides and businesses to make their events special! We begin with ice sculpting specific, crystal clear, 300# blocks of ice that we produce in our studio. After your consultation, the sculpture is sketched, designed and refined, then carved. Almost all sculptures are rough cut with a chainsaw. Small, custom-made power and hand tools and chisels are used to achieve the finished sculpture. Large and complex sculptures may take as long as six to ten hours and are carved in a 20-degree walk in freezer. Simpler designs may take one to two hours. Every sculpture is unique and has slightly different accents.
