- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started off as a office manager for a distributor of professional hair color.The color company would send educators in to our distribution center for educational expos and I would help with the prep work. I was a natural and fell in love with hair. I received my license and starting down the road as a educator for various companies. That was 20 years ago and my desire to learn and create beauty has never been stronger. I love being a stylist and working in the educational side of the business.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in color correction. I enjoy doing a total makeover of color and cut that best fits the facial structure and hair texture of my client. I love to bring out the natural beauty in my clients.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently had a client come in to see me that wanted a black and white designed with color. She had a consultation with two different salons and they both refused the challenge. I was able to achieve the look of the black and white with a complimentary cut. The client was very pleased.
